Between Percy knowing Grog's favorite color (6), knowing that Grog was holding up one finger to him while he was blind to test his eyesight (Grog's middle finger), knowing how to win a cannon ball contest that Grog was judging (by exploding himself with raw sodium and drawing blood from both himself and Grog lol), and Grog getting Percy a broken pocket watch as a gift (because he knew Percy would enjoy tinkering with it), I genuinely think Percy and Grog's relationship is one of the most slept on in all of Critical Role.

Plus this little exchange that I love so dearly:

Percy: I know we don't always agree, and I know that I can be unkind but... you know you're family, right?

Grog: I don't know much, but I do know that.

look i get that anna's attachment to percy isn't morally acceptable or appropriate or whatever I GET IT. BUT. its almost comical how obsessed she is with him. i mean this woman is a genius. shes extremely clever, easily one of the brightest minds of her time. the moment percy enters the equation? all that goes out the fucking window. he's made it explicitly clear MULTIPLE TIMES how much he LOATHES her and not only does she ask him to join her more than once but each time he fakes her out shes like :000

shes not super cuddly either. i mean, the briarwoods? the people she traveled across an ocean and many miles and miles of land with and worked closely with for years? a simple transactional relationship. her crew of assistants, workers and other employees/cohorts? eh, replaceable. don't matter too much. Percy?? guy she tortured for like a few months who spends his every spare breath cursing her?? every other goddamn frame they share she looks like she's about to eat him alive oh my god?
