Something that really bugs me in fandom spaces is when people ship boy x boy or girl x girl just because it’s a queer ship not because they think they’re good together…

There are a lot of characters who I would say are soulmates, but whether you take that platonically or romantically is your choice. But when you strip down their relationship to “gay” it really pisses me off, because you just removed all the depth and complicity of their relationship, which was likely the whole point of the ship in the first place.

EXACTLY!??! Animals are animals. They’re not human, and have no concept of human morality. They do not have morals. Projecting those morals onto creatures who have no concept of such is both unrealistic and honestly kind of dumb 😭😭
