Anyways do you ever think that Virgil still has-

Suicidal thoughts but he doesn’t wanna worry the rest of the sides so he doesn’t talk abt them, but Janus and Remus both know bc 1, hc that Remus can hear others intrusive thoughts 2, It’s very hard to lie to Janus successfully. So those two are just in the odd state of, “I know something’s wrong. You know something’s wrong, he probably knows we know sometimes wrong, but how in the hell do we address this?” And that’s why Virgil actually has such violent hatred for the dark sides? Because despite being forced to hide who he was for so long, now he can’t hide the one thing he wants too?

That when Janus starts getting included more, he starts getting more nervous that he’ll bring it up. Because surely he’s going too. Janus couldn’t hate him that much, could he? Maybe he does. Maybe in Virgil’s mind, he does. And Virgil only gets more anxious about it when Remus starts popping up more commonly, because yeah Remus isn’t heartless, but what if he points out how stupid it is that Virgil still wants to die a bit even though he’s got a loving famILY?

And when orange appears? And the main sense of logic, someone who could ground Virgil with logic and facts is gone?

Well, Thomas has Janus for self preservation now. Figure out what’s wrong with Logan, get rid of Orange, and then.. Thomas will be better off without him.

I like to imagine that Patton was the first side so for a long time he was alone as the only one taking care of Thomas. This is why I think he has such a hard time letting go of control, not only because hes the eldest, but was the only side to truly experience being alone.

Do ya think he has so much symbolism with dogs and cats bc those are common house pets that can get separation anxiety?

Obsessed with the idea of transmasc Fem!Logan. She knows, honestly everyone knows, her hair's been cut to her ears since she was 16 and she's been wearing loose fitting office shirts in a so very obvious attempt to have a boxy frame (though if you ask her, it's to "look professional). At this point the sides have a running bet on who she'll come out to (most of the money is on Patton).

But she won't, she won't admit it to herself. Everything's fine in Logan-land, where every chance of self-exploration had been shoved into a metaphorical closet never to be touched on, because gender dysphoria is a feeling, and Logic doesn't have feelings, and what does it say about her that she's the only one who feels this way?

There's a whole community of her friends who are supportive and want her to be open with them, and Logan is too afraid of herself to take that first step. Because Logic is supposed to know, and she'll never admit when she doesn't.

I think another part of it would be when Logan said “we’re all apart of Thomas, so he/him pronouns all around.”

logan slowly shutting all of the other sides out because, even though he doesn’t want to admit it, he is scared they will see that part of him

logan feeling more alone than ever, but he pushes on because he absolutely has to. he’s logic. he doesn’t have time to focus on “feelings.”

Fem!Roman having curly hair that she feels really insecure about because curly haired girls are always the "ugly girls" in movies. She straightens it for most of her life to fit in with the others and to separate herself from Remus who also has curly hair and doesn't straighten it.

Eventually she comes around to it as she comes into her own and stops straightening it, up until Janus finds out and start bullying her about it after POF. (Janus bleaches her own hair so it's not like she has room to speak). It gets to the point where Patton straight up steals her straightener to stop her from frying her hair, which starts a big fight between them that doesn't end with the straightener being returned.

Logan who has alcohol issues, but in a way thats initally hard to detect. He doesn't tend to black out or throw up, but can't go a single day without something to "take the edge off". He drinks so often he builds up a tolerance until he to go through a couple glasses of wine a day. He starts early, hiding alchohol in tumbler cups, and binging late at night when hes alone.

He starts to get incredibly neurotic about groceries and shopping trips to cover up the fact that hes going through multiple bottles a week. He buries bottles in the recycling bin and hides corks in his room. He starts talking less, to hide the way his syllables slur together. He withdraws, preemptively resenting the others because he knows they will try to stop him. But he is Logan. He is Logic. He knows, better than anyone, when enough is enough.
