Heh, I found the title page of my diary from when I was 11.
Got rid of my hair again. It looked great as it was getting longer (provided the air was completely still and not a single butterfly batted its wings in my vicinity, which was enough to send the whole lot flying all over my face) but it was a sensory nightmare 99% of the time, so it had to go. I now have three different textures on my head and it's fun, hehe.
Okay but this is love. My friend just showed me a photo of her new backpack, which has an elephant on it. And she said: "They had pretty floral ones, but my husband was really into the elephant, and he's the one who can see it when it's on my back."
Everyone say awwwwwwwwwwwww <3
This is the 85 year old creator of Roger Rabbit:
Next up someone is going to claim that the Narnia series isn't kids books.
Kids books is probably not the best way to word it, you can enjoy them at every age, including your childhood, as you get older you may find new truths in them, but they're still good for any age.
"You read a 310 page book as a child?" is making me break out in a rash.
Not all kids are able to read at the same level at the same age, but on average, reading a book with several hundred pages at age, let's say, seven, is nothing unusual!
And if it has become unusual it's a sign that adults are neglecting to help kids develop reading skills.
Just for fun, typical page counts for popular and established children's books:
A Bear Called Paddington: 160
Mary Poppins: 180
Ronja the Robber's Daughter: 235
Moominsummer Madness: 176
A Little Princess: 368
Alice in Wonderland: 400
Pippi Longstocking: 176
A Hundred and One Dalmatians: 199
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: 192
The Secret Garden: 385

You know what pisses me off probably even more than people using AI to 'make art' ?
People who use AI to assist them in their work...and don't review and correct that work. Just let it fly as is.
You're showing your whole ass there. For AI to be "empowering and enhancing" your work you still gotta do the key part of the work yourself.
Like captions. Great, you used AI to transcribe your video! You saved so much time! ...why are you not checking the transcription? ...you don't care about the quality? ...you don't mind that it completely misread some rather important words?
Faster and cheaper. That's all that matters. The big companies taught you well.
Making containers out of trash, organising things by colour, I am having a great time in the basement this summer
Am told by people smarter than me that it's a lady boar.
He's back! We need to find a name for him...

poland in summertime photo album 2026
sooo, by popular request, i decided to repeat this little event!
just like the previous year, i invite everyone spending their holidays in poland to share their favourite photos to be published - and this year i sincerely promise to do it much quicker ;)
we are making an album that will compile photos of poland - the landscapes, the nature, the cities, the food, anything you can capture - taken between june 1st and september 30th 2026. the photos have to be taken by you personally, you must state the approximate area where they were taken, and you may (i strongly encourage you to!) add an associated memory or commentary. fill the form out in either polish or english.
last year's photo compilation can be seen here
and as for this year:
