Their seemed to be some confusion around the sleepy time bed post and if it’s a furby electric chair! It is a real Furby product. I have 2. Here’s how to use them.

meet Digit, my hamsa hand / evil eye themed (and first ever) oddbody furby!

he’s supposed to represent a hamsa hand, a universal symbol for protection, strength and power that dates back to ancient cultures (really had to fight myself to not feel like I was bastardising it here, but it was made with love lmao). in a real hamsa hand, it has an eye that resembles the evil eye in the centre. I’ve had a small evil eye symbol charm that fell off of an old decoration laying around for ages, and I used that as his third eye.

if you’ve seen my post from a few weeks back when I was making it, you’ll know that Digit was made with a vegan faceplate, one that I made and painted myself out of clay, and I’m really really proud of how it turned out!

the thumbs on both sides of the hand weren’t supposed to look like ears, but I kind of love that it turned out like that. he’s a very strange creature and I love the final product :)
