Enjoy Ames because Ames enjoys you.
Members of the Clark Avenue Club, Miss Marie Bauge and Mrs. A.P. Ball, hold a new 1952 flag; in the back Mrs. D.F. Raver holds an old one. The club was founded in October 1923 by 14 neighborhood women, and by the time of this photo, membership had grown to 50. It was the ambition of the club that every home on Clark from 6th Street north fly one of these flags on Flag Day.
