Pod Aware 2014

November is just around the corner, so you know what that means! Pod Aware! This year Pod Aware will run from November 13-17, but I need your help to make this happen! First thing we need, are some suggestions for the daily topics. Our first round’s topics were: Podfic 101/Why We Podfic, Blanket Permission, Author/Podficcer Relationships, Accents, Feedback, Repodding, and Encouraging Podfic. The topics of our second round were: How We Podfic, Podfic Fandom, Recs, Acting, Special Effects, Collaboration, and Feedback. As you can see some of those topics have been repeated, and we can repeat them again this year if people want or we can introduce new topics, but I need to know what people are interested in. Secondly, I need volunteers. I’ll need help creating the round up posts, which link to all the entries from the previous day. I’ll also need help creating the podcasts that get posted each day. Please comment (on DW or LJ) to volunteer or share ideas.

I am making a johnlock crack video to the tune of My Favorite Things, and though I've written it and have the editing skills to make the vid, I am completely tone deaf and am seeking a fan with a knack for singing. I wanted to approach the podfic community, since they have such beautiful voices, but I'm fairly new to this fandom and don't really know how to go about doing this. Do you have any recommendations on where I could post this request? Thank you!

Well here is a good start. I'd also try the podficcing community on twitter, just @podfic to be retweeted to the podficcers.
