Rec: This is just the sweetest, most wholesome thing ever. It’s a Potterlock adult AU (no Hogwarts) in which Sherlock has a kind of sensory sensitivity and John is carrying a Dark curse around with him. Of course they are a match made in Mike Stamford’s heaven, and each thinks the other’s the best thing since wands were invented. The fic is positively overflowing with good vibes and how the two men make each other better, both in the literal healing sense and in terms of their outlook on life. The imagery is really beautiful, especially regarding the way Sherlock perceives magic, and there is some wonderful work done with metaphor and symbolism. Oh and don’t be misled by the General rating -- it’s definitely a shippy piece. :)
