#066-068 Machop, Machoke, and Machamp

Machop are always active, sleeping little just to have more time to train. They congregate with other Machop in rugged mountains to spar and practice martial arts.  Occasionally, groups of Machop will gather near monasteries to watch and learn martial arts from practicing monks.

Literally Ripped. The evolution of a Machop into a Machoke is gradual, and culminates with its muscles swelling so much that its skin actually tears on its arms. The Machoke is not bothered, though, because its muscles have toughened to the extent that it’s virtually immune to pain. Similar to Machop, Machoke are boisterous but friendly, and have been known to gladly assist towns and villages with heavy lifting. They don’t need any compensation—they just like the exercise!

Grapple Masters. The final form of a Machop is the four-armed Machamp, an unrivaled master of martial arts with indomitable brute strength. Mythical heroes of the past are said to have sparred with Machamp, but even in myth, no creature has ever escaped this Pokémon’s four-armed grapples.
