Protective pokémon headcanons

Machamp

this pokémon not only acts as your personal bouncer and bodyguard, but also takes up the role of your greatest supporter and hypeman, cheering and clapping for you over any achievement.

wherever you go, machamp is always two steps behind you if you let it, and the pokémon's more than happy to interact with anyone in your stead if your social battery is running low.

should someone ever try to harm or trick you, Machamp can shove and keep them away from you without any issue.

if you don't wish for your pokémon to confront anyone, and would rather it help you get out of a scary situation, Machamp can pick you up and bring you to any desired location without worry of being stopped, nothing will stand in it's path when it comes to making you feel safe!

Arcanine

this pokémon is amazing at keeping you grounded. When it senses you need comfort or reassurance Arcanine gets very clingy, because it's aware that feeling it's warmth, softness and weight can ease your stress.

despite Arcanine being a pokémon with a formidable reputation, people might underestimate it due to the docile behavior it displays when in the company of you and your friends.

Legend has it that a single bark from Arcanine is enough to make people grovel before it. You might witness such a scene more than once; when pushed, it takes very little for this pokémon to make people tremble with fear.

when the world becomes too much for you, a mere nod is all it takes for Arcanine to let you climb on it's back. It will carry you wherever you wish.

Bisharp (+ pawniard squad)

Bisharp is much more protective of you than you might think; when this pokémon realizes it can prevent you from feeling uncomfortable by being by your side and looking out for you, it makes it it's mission to keep your life as carefree as possible.

for this reason, Bisharp is more than willing to take in some wild pawniards as it's goons, always making them scout your surroundings for any perceived threats or unwelcomed surprises.

if someone or something ever makes you feel uneasy or unsafe, the pawniards, or Bisharp itself, will ensure you don't cross paths again.

should you require Bisharp to protect you, you can trust the pokémon to be extremely efficient, however, if you seek comfort, Bisharp let's that be handled by the pawniards, who are more than happy to let you hold and coddle them.
