I know this blog has been sadly neglected.  I apologize.  That does mean that there's a ton more fanart out there now for me to find though!

Anyway, I came to tell you guys - what kind of fan would I be if I didn't have Mitsui coming to live with me?  I'm so excited that FINALLY his figurine is available!  I normally don't purchase fan-type things but for Mitsui, I'll make an exception.

POST NUMBER 1000! And it’s one of my favorite characters ever! Mitsui!! :) 

Here’s why I love this guy..

He may have left from bitterness(and maybe a bit of a burst to his huge ego), but came back, and was welcomed back. Well that might have something to do with Kogure, which is why I ship MitKo so much.

Anyway, I want to thank everyone who follows me, who responds to whatever nonsense I post. I hope you like what I post, and please inbox me if there’s anything on your mind, want to see more, or less of, or just want an ear to listen.

Inoue Takehiko drew these as part of an article about Slam Dunk: 10 Days After.  They appeared in issue #23 of Switch along with a watercolor cover.  SD: 10 Days After was created to celebrate selling 100 million copies of Slam Dunk. I love the Mitsui drawing so much that it's been an icon and avatar for me ever since 2005, when I downloaded the low-res files from itplanning.co.jp.  I actually turned all of them into icons but ended up keeping only two, the Mitsui one and the Sakuragi one.
