I drew this six days ago, I meant to post it, but I was busy with other drawings.

Anyway, I never tried the whole blurred vision from close up before, and I wanted to try it out.

I used the iconic Muhammad Ali image for reference. But unlike Ali, Piccolo has a look of regret and an injured shoulder. It was fight to the death, he didn't want to kill him but Piccolo did what he could to survive this hellish realm. Yeah, there's more to this story, but I need to iron it out the details first.

Watching dragon ball and im maternal towards him

Since I was a child, this has always been my favourite moment in all of Dragon Ball.

This is the first time Goku is seriously in trouble. He might not prevail and save the world. Piccolo Daimao is a terrifying opponent and for most of the arc, he seems invincible. But Goku finds a way to win, like he will dozens of times more later on.

It kind of marks the shift in the manga (and anime) where DB goes from a fun lighthearted adventure to the more fighting and action-based focus DBZ would take.
