There is so much to say about the latest few episodes of Outlander, but honestly the only thing I can articulate is hOW is Richard Rankin not in more stuff?!!! His acting is sensitive and nuanced, but he manages to bring a bit of himself to the character of Roger Wakefield (which if you read the books you’ll see the differences) while staying true to the romanticism that is Roger’s love for Bree. And he NEVER overdoes it, like even when he’s crying he uses just enough emotion to make the audience understand and also relate without being unrealistic. And he’s gorgeous, Scottish, and funny on top of everything else, like it just blows my mind that he’s just now being recognized because of Outlander, he deserves tHE ENTIRE WORLD AS FAR AS I’M CONCERNED
