I need to be rich.
Greetings, my name is Carman Spoto! I am a queer transgender woman, and I am currently crowdfunding my new feature film, What Color is Blue, which is about a relationship between a trans woman and her non-binary partner navigating the radical queer scenes in Philadelphia. We are raising money to pay for the cast and crew of the film, the majority of which will be women, lgbtq folks, and people of color. This film is near and dear to my heart, and having the opportunity, as a trans woman, to make a movie about trans women, starring trans women, and for trans women and other queer and GNC folks is extremely important to me. I have already been working on this film for nearly a year, all during my free time out side of work, and would appreciate the support from my friends and colleagues on here. If you can donate to the film that is great, if you can’t, please still click follow on the crowdfunding page, (once we reach 500 followers we gain access to filmmaking resources to help shoot the film) And please please please, reblog and like. Thank you so much. CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE CROWDFUNDING PAGE
What Color is Blue is a feature-length film (approximately 60 minutes) about the internal impotence that we, as queer youth, feel while facing the people, politicians, and organizations that do not want us to exist.

On the set of Paul Verhoeven’s RoboCop.
It leads our picks for what to see this weekend in NYC.
Hey Everyone, My name is Carman and I run Fuckyeahrobocop.
I actually work on movie sets as a camera operator and this week something amazing happened. I finally got to work with someone from Robocop! Ray Wise, Leon C Nash in the film, was in a film I was working on over the weekend.
He was a pleasure to work with, and was very excited to find out that someone runs a blog on what he called “wait…The Original Robocop?!”
Hopefully this will be the first of many more in the future!
“I don’t know if she is really ACAB…I mean…for christsakes…she runs a fucking Robocop blog”
Also as a side note, he told me he always liked to befriend the camera team, because in the good old days they were, and I quote, “the ones with the best blow.”
