Ralph turned around, exhaustion hovering just under his skin as he placed two fingers on his chin and contemplated his next decision.
"I think," he started, still looking around, "we should go…that way!"
He pointed to a wooden sign that read “Olde Port” and gave Jack...
"Come on, then!" he shouted over his shoulder, gesturing distractedly in a completely different direction than the one in which he was heading.
The sun was still high in the sky, its rays painting the sidewalk in lumpy, faded shadows and strips of brilliant yellow. Ralph continued on, convincing himself that he was going the right way.
