damn it’s really been three years since i ditched this place huh

#i still follow jenn on insta and she's just out livin her best life #honestly if i had her money i would too tbh #anyways i'm alive (sorta)#you can find me over @pretty-android if y'all were curious

this blog has become inactive; in all honesty, i don’t feel the need or motivation to update this blog as it rarely has followers and i’ve lost/changed interest. i’ve also said before in the past that as time has grown and i’ve gotten older, i no longer have as much time and dedication to keep the blog going. (don’t worry, i still like superbus.) maybe someday i’ll come back, but at this point in my life i have other things i need to put my focus on. i wish all my followers from over the past few years well. on that note, i must say thank you for everything superbus has given me, as i’ve met some very good friends through this band.

Hey guys, it’s Eliza, the founder and remaining moderator here at FYS.

Just wanted to take a moment to explain why the recent months have been so dead here.....aside from lack of news at the moment, my life has been pretty busy recently. I mean, I made this blog when I was 14 and in high school, when I had the time to actually invest in creating and running a fan site, but I’m 19 now and starting my sophomore year of college soon, and I’m working full-time and then, of course, my personal life. I don’t have the same dedication as I did 5 years ago when I started FYS on a whim, unfortunately. My really good friend Hélène left for personal and understandable reasons, leaving the blog over to me, and as time goes by, I no longer have the time or dedication.

I’m still a fan of Superbus, don’t worry, the blog isn’t going anywhere. Their songs will always hold those memories to me and Lova Lova will always be one of my favorite albums.

I just some explanation and clarification as to why we’ve been running dry for a good while here. If anyone is curious to my personal whereabouts/my life, you can always follow my personal blog.

Hope all is well with my followers here. Thanks, guys, hope you understand what’s been going on recently.

Hélène au micro. Je vous écris ce soir une note bien triste, en français parce que je serai incapable d'exprimer mes émotions en anglais, alors je m'excuse par avance auprès de nos quelques followers anglophones. Superbus, c'est huit ans de ma vie. Des centaines de posters à mes murs et d'euros passés dans ma collection. Des concerts et des heures d'attente à ne plus les compter. Des disques passés au moins des milliards de fois. Des rencontres extraordinaires. Et même un tatouage sur mon bras. Mon adolescence entière a été rythmée, construite, guidée par ce groupe. Je sais très bien que je ne serais pas ce que je suis aujourd'hui sans ce groupe. Mais voilà, il est l'heure de tirer ma révérence. Il est l'heure de ranger au placard mon adolescence et de commencer ma vie d'adulte. Je ne souhaite pas parler des raisons qui me poussent à dire adieu au groupe si brutalement, elles sont et doivent rester privées. Mais c'est définitivement et officiellement terminé pour moi. C'est pourquoi je laisse à ma fantastique amie Eliza, qui est l'une des plus belles rencontres que j'aie faites grâce au groupe, le soin de continuer ce Tumblr sans moi. Hey guys, announcement.

Earlier today on Greg’s facebook, he announced that, unfortunately, he has been fired from Superbus by Universal Records.

On Superbus’ official FB page they posted a disclaimer, stating that Greg & the band’s schedules/locations were too complicated to work, and that was the reason behind letting him go as a drummer.

We’ll miss you Greg, thank you for being an awesome drummer for the past 10 years, and good luck on any future projects.
