Despite the metal exoskeleton required for them to survive on this planet, they were seeking the same oneness that we were seeking.
If Alan Watts were alive, I think he would be my teacher. :) This isn’t really a guided meditation per se, but Watts discusses the techniques that he uses to achieve meditation.
Listening to sound
Listening to all interior feeling and thoughts as something that is going on, not something that you are doing, but just happenings
Watching your breath as a happening that is neither voluntary or nor involuntary. You are simply aware of these basic sensations.

this is a great abundance meditation. listen to it and focus in on earning!
“Becoming more aware of the present moment and accept it as it is slows down the overactive mind.”
— Eckhart Tolle
“I don’t think there is any truth. There are only points of view.”

“If you think that when you take a vacation, or find the ideal partner, or get a better job or a nice place to live or whatever it is, then you will finally be happy, that’s when you lose yourself in the future.”
— Eckhart Tolle
“I dream. Sometimes I think that’s the only right thing to do.”
— Haruki Murakami
“People fall so in love with their pain, they can’t leave it behind. The same as the stories they tell. We trap ourselves.”
— Chuck Palahniuk
“People think being alone makes you lonely, but I don’t think that’s true. Being surrounded by the wrong people is the loneliest thing in the world.”

“You are not separate from the whole. You are one with the sun, the air, the water and the earth. You don’t have a live. You are life” …. Eckhart Tolle.
Count to 12 without removing your socks
I just heard about this pleasingly simple way to count past 5 on one hand. Using your thumb as a pointer, simply count along each of the three joints in each of your four fingers.
Sure, if you’re willing to use binary then you can count from zero to thirty one using one hand, though this isn’t really practical. You’d have to do mental calculations to figure the correct finger position (instead of the other way around), and some of the contortions might be uncomfortable (for ex, try extending only your middle and pinky fingers, leaving the others curled).
This easy 12 count is a modest, but appreciable gain, and is simple for the brain and the hand both. If only we used a base 12 numbering system, the finger-counting possibilities would really explode…
“You are not IN the universe, you ARE the universe, an intrinsic part of it. Ultimately you are not a person, but a focal point where the universe is becoming conscious of itself. What an amazing miracle.”

Your unhappiness ultimately arises not from the circumstances of your life but from the conditioning of your mind.
