OverDrive is Fukuoka’s representative rap team. It consists of butler Yuno Kamora, professional dancer Mai Yousei and their leader, idol Eko Seishin.

Their theme colour is electric blue, hence being similar to the natural element electricity. But it also highlights their drive to reach their ambitions.

The groups symbol is an electric blue music note that all 3 members have on an accessory; A chain on Eko’s watch, a design on Mai’s hat and a clip on Yuno’s bracer. It’s meant to represent their huge connection to the hypnosis mic which lead to the teams formation. The groups hand sign is the palm slightly down, which in body language means dominance.

Eko, Mai and Yuno are all childhood friends, as their strong ties put them together. In this sense, their rap styles are similar, but have their own originality. All of them have had encounters with the hypnosis mic, which drives them to reach their goal through the hardships they’ve faced alone and as a team. They decided to enter the DRB to get closer to Chuohku and overthrow the Party of Words for good. ______________________________________ Now becoming a blockbuster team, their combined ambition only soars higher and higher. Continuing to make massive waves, OverDrive’s true chain of objectives unknowingly changed. Now immersed and placed in the DRB, their main objective resides in having “fun” with the other divisions, with their 1st official team “mission” lying on one acquired target — Taking their division back by force from a few “forsaken” defenders.

!!BREAKING NEWS!! “D.R.B Fukuoka 2nd Representatives Spit More Than Chuohku’s Bars…”

As part of a live event stationed at the ward crafted by “OverDrive”—Fukuoka’s 2nd Division Rap Battle contestants—Chuohku has fallen into disrepair after the titular trio in acted a brawl following the final day of that same event in the waning hours of this day.

Many officials have been fatally wounded, with a few lucky ones being hospitalized, putting up a good fight against them. However, their enforcements eventually paid the price for a long history of dealing with said team…

Prime Minister Totohen nor Deputy Kadenokoji have disclosed any information surrounding the attack. For what we have observed, both of their fates are deemed unknown. As for “OverDrive”, all 3 members are hospitalized…Yet, none of them appear to hold life threatening injuries.

What You Wish For — SIDE 3 [Neither of them could step in the door. What was in their way…? Well, it wasn’t a surprise either.] [Ichijuku Kadenokoji, in her usual frightening flesh, pinned Eko in place with a smirk, pressing a different kind of microphone into his head…One drafted from Traffic Light’s condition.] Ichijuku: …This is why men bite me, when they choose to be this dominant, selfish— [Mai clenched their hand into a fist, forcing the Deputy’s body to contort and release her teammate onto the floor. Otome, deadly calm, sighed with annoyance as the dancer flung her against the wall.] Ichijuku: —Agh! Shade: No one touches my brother. NO ONE! [Turning around, they were faced to face with the Prime Minster inches away from them.] Otome: I am disappointed that we weren’t good enough for you. Your results prove to be promising… Otome: …So much so, we cannot let you leave. [A frequency suddenly enveloped the room, causing the two to writhe and cover their ears in pain. Both of their abilities began to fade, bodies becoming lighter…] [Wait, lighter as in…Levitation!] Yuno: Return to sender! Eko: So there IS more than dad jokes in the family! [In the flesh, Yuno lands between his legs, with Eko steadying him. The idol nods with a smirk as the two most influential people of Japan picked themselves up and were begging for a fight…] [Mai stands up, their eyes blazing.] Mai/Shade: It’s time. What You Wish For — SIDE 2 Official: Alert the Prime Minister! Traffic Light has returned—! Eko: IT’S OVERDRIVE! [The force of Eko’s sonic scream sent the official flying, ramming into a few others as many enforcements continued to replenish to stop OverDrive. If there was something true about Chuohku, they never ran out of steam.] Eko: You destroyed us all those years ago, remember—? Honobono: And we will make sure to do it again~! [As if things couldn’t get any worse, Honobono + Clean Speak showed up meaning business. Armour. True Hypnosis Microphones. Hypnosis Cancellers.] [Honobono steps forward, activating the canceller as OverDrive slowly backed away to retain distance. However, they were not surprised. One by one, they pocketed their microphones with blank expressions…] Honobono: You have changed after all…If you surrender now, we will compensate you for such an embarrassing act. [She placed a figure under Mai’s neck, massaging them like an owners pet. The dancer pulls away as she laughs at her discomfort. Enough for Yuno to slap her on the face.] Yuno: I said what was true in those 5 volumes. This. Ends. Here. [The bracer on his arm glowed wildly, his eyes followed suit. In one fluid motion, he raised his hand and consumed the attacks brought on by the first wave of Chuohku officials, and freed it in a stamp of his foot…] [Sending a shockwave to sweep them off their feet.] Honobono: Don’t let them escape! [Eko and Mai, impressed, were about to hype him up. Although, he pointed up ahead at Otome’s office.] Yuno: I will take them. Hurry, we don’t have much time. Go!

What You Wish For — SIDE 1 [Past GEN’s performance, the crowd was in a frenzy. All 7 teams were out onstage, soaking in all the support and excitement pouring out to them.] [The live part of the plan was done…] [Now, for the main event!] Eko: …This means war! [At Eko’s command, all of the units—minus NaYuta—jumped off the stage and into the audience. Speaking of the audience, Kairi transformed her mic and unleashed her opinokinesis powers onto them, turning what was a shocking moment into a battle of resilience.] All: Voice The Music! [And that battle begun. OverDrive, Terminus and KryPtos scattered through the crowd, taking care of the surveil-lancing Chuohku officials before heading inside the building in swift knockouts. With brandished weapons, Shu and Zaria were busy collecting forensic evidence to include in Chuohku’s portfolio…] Yuno: Shu, Zaria, Kairi, secure the perimeter. The 3 of us are going in… Shu: Stay safe, brother. [Yuno turns to face Eko and Mai, his face contorted with hope and uncertainty at the same time. Mai laughs, causing Eko to do the same.] Eko: I can’t believe we are actually doing this~. Mai: Hurry! There’s more coming our way! [The trio bursts into the headquarters, diving straight into what would become a make or break suicide mission, tinted with their eyes of Red, Gold and Blue…]

Per usual, the crowd fed KryPtos with cheers of support—and even held up signs of rebellion for them—and chanted the gangs name continuously. The siblings raised their mic’s in the air, following Itsuki who did the same with his Hypnosis Canceller.] Yuno: In 3 days…The world will end. Shu: We just have one final mission… Zaria: Take this as a final parting gift, Chuohku~. [Yuno, Shu and Zaria laughed. The sound meant business, something they were about to wish Chuohku never saw coming—] Itsuki: I renounce this act of war…! [In a matter of seconds, the groups microphones detransformed, causing the crowd to protest and the children to exchange glances of disbelief.
