He supposes he’s seen weirder things on his travels.. One of which a man that was half shark, gills and all. As such, a half.. Fish-man -or boy more like- couldn’t be much different. Even so, his trip to the shore, dogs trailing after him, playing in the water, digging in the sand, was meant to be calming.

He gives the blond a look-over, hands burying in his pockets as he leans back a little where he stands. “Did you wash up on shore or something? Need me to push you back in?”

“The colour of the cat in question is not important.” He replies. Black or not, any cat crossing his path necessarily avoided with an entirely different route than previously planned. And then of course he had gotten a little distracted along this new route.

"Mhm?" Iruka smiles, peppering kisses along Kakashi's jaw, his cheek, his neck. "There's a lot we can do from here, don't you think?"

Well, yes, there was lots one could do from here, the bed.. Specifically.. Although Kakashi wasn’t a hundred percent certain that was what he’d meant. Hadn’t he just complained about being unable to move? Either way, he was happy to just pull Iruka that much closer and bury his nose against his neck.

“Mm, doesn’ matter what..” Just be lazy together.

Iruka rolls over with a muffled groan, sliding his hand along Kakashi's torso, and kisses him squarely on the mouth. He rakes his fingers through Kakashi's hair, slow and lazy, and draws out the kiss as long as he can. "Any complaints?" he asks, nipping Kakashi's lower lip as he pulls back.

Iruka’s sudden action startle him into stunned silence. He’s been so quietly pleased with himself and the turn of events that the kiss surprised him, even if the wandering fingers across his torso might have warned him.

He flushes just a little. “...” He only grumbles a little, mumbling unintelligibly about things being fine and Iruka playing dirty. Arms wrapped around Iruka’s waist to pull him closer and snuggle against him like a child. If you can’t defeat ‘em join ‘em. Not a credo he lived by often. But when it came to Iruka..

"Sorry to make you get dressed for nothing. Can't you come back to bed for a while?" Iruka pulled lazily at Kakashi's hand, comfortable on the plush pillows. "Just for a few more hours."

Well.. He supposes he could. “I would have to get all undressed again..” He complains testily, just being difficult for the heck of it. After all, he’d planned an entire trip, and now all Iruka wanted to do was sleep. And whereas usually Kakashi was the party-pooper, this was a golden opportunity to gloat about the fact that he was all prepared and ready while Iruka was not, for once.

“But for you..” He untied his hitai-ate and put it on the nightstand, then shrugged off his vest and pulled his shirt over his head. There was a slight static crackle when it passed over his hair. He toes off his sandals, decided his pants could stay on, and crawled back into bed.
