Adjusting, that’s a good word. Claire wonders how long it will take her to adjust to it, to Alex being what she is now. It’s new, different, and it goes against everything she’s ever learned about hunting. But she’s learned old ways, hasn’t she? From people who have done this their whole life, who were taught by people with a bias for monsters and maybe there is a different way forward now.
“How long?” it’s the only thing she can think to ask first, closely followed by her next question. “And how?”
“Uh. . .a month next week.“ alex had chosen to live away from their little made shift family. it was safer for them that way. and she had been right, because people seeking vengeance kept coming for her. blue eyes look back before clearing her throat, hands playing with the hem of her shirt. “after my night shift. some vampires from the nest. . .they found me.“
alex doesn’t say much else regarding that. she prefers not to. “I’m surprisingly. . .handling it better than I expected. it’s weird. I think I fear more telling Jody.”

“That’s it? You don’t sound . . . concerned at all.” And he isn’t expecting Jesse’s help, not after everything the kid’s gone through, but the blatant lack of care is enough to throw him off gaurd. “I just told you God is trying to destroy the universe.”
“well, sam. . .not everyone wants to live in this world. or any for the matter.“ and he shrugs. a part of him knows that what he is saying sounds bad. sad even, but that part doesn’t care anymore. “i spent ten years in hell. if you guys fail, then I’m fine with that. if you guys win, then. . .it’s just more of the same old hell and heaven tango for another century.“

“maybe that’s why it took me so long to meet someone.” he chuckled, shaking his head. most of his memories were bitter sweet if they weren’t horrifying. “they’re good kids, they’re trying.”
“you always meet the right people at the right time. you met someone when you had to met them. simple.“ perhaps it’s how she sees things. nature and how it works, jessica simply knows it’s all happening for a reason. “oh I know they do. doesn’t excuse that they had done some. . .messes.“
shurleys:
“ well … no. i don’t know. i just … i want to know what it’s like … what you’re doing, y'know ? call it curiosity. ” the youngest shurley says as she stands up as well, not wanting to miss her chance to get an exclusive look behind the scenes. after all, this is her world now. “ maybe help. if you need any help. i’m really good at comforting people … at least that’s what my mom says. ” there is no doubt she’s excited about spending the day with another family member, someone other than her dad, or her brother.
“last person who I showed what’s like, didn’t understood properly.“ then again, dean winchester is only human. he has no option but to be selfish, it’s all very human. the balance be damned, as long as sam winchester was safe. eyebrows raised as he stands up, the cane making a gentle ripple on the ground as his ring clashes to it. “you can try. first, you observe.“ death is clear, as a reaper appear beside him, he would be doing his rounds with them. “I don’t personally reap many. . .I get their souls. collect them, if you can call it that. only special ones get the. . .honor.“ like sam winchester. but he missed that chance a long time ago. no more second chances. and he makes them appear on the side of a street.

“i’ll start looking into it.” there was always more to the story in his and dean’s experience, but either way, he didn’t want to leave eileen out there without back up. giving her a small smile. “i’ll meet you outside in five.”
“alright.“ and she goes to pick up her things. she takes what she can. she is thinking ghosts, so it should be quick. but she knows he is taking other things just to be sure. and five minutes pass and she is outside. “I call choosing the music.“ and she presses her hand to the car’s speak, so when the music plays, she can feel the vibrations.

“That’s not the point, Jesse. Soon there won’t be anywhere to go. He’s been working his way through universes and isn’t sparing anybody.” Sam wouldn’t even be surprised if theirs was one of five worlds left. “So . . . stopping him is kind of our only choice.”
“Hm. well, good luck with that.“ and he just shrugs again, lifting one hand to give the older a thumbs up. it sounds all so out of their reach. but hey, he had heard stories about them in hell, so perhaps, this will be bound to happen. “you guys got this”.
shurleys:
leaning back in his chair, the younger brother looked at the eldest of the trio, single eyebrow quirking upwards slightly. was he coming for him for having another child ? hannah — god forbid, she wasn’t a problem. if anything, she was the least of his problems. “ i would — if they let me. ” nonchalant shrug followed his words. “ but my other children — they’re … far more complicated. ” he explained, before motioning towards his older brother. “ as i’m sure you know. ” he added, eyeing him for a moment before he shook his head. “ no — no, i’m just saying — you shouldn’t judge what i’m doing either. if it wasn’t for me, you would be jobless. ”
“well, considering that they had been on their own for eons. . .it’s understandable. they have an attitude.“ he doesn’t comment on the fact his distaste might come from the fact lucifer, the brattiest of the bunch, managed to bound him to do his bidding during the apocalypse. “jobless?” eyebrows raised, eyes only slightly open at a genuine amusement for once. “I don’t get my job from you, brother. they are forces we don’t even understand.” forces perhaps even older than they are. just like chuck has an inkling to create and give life, death has the feeling of death on his hands. to reap souls, the inevitable. “should I give you a thank you, little brother? I do, however, admit I enjoy what you made. . .it’s beautiful.”

“I should’ve told you sooner. . .I was just, I don’t know, ashamed?“ and alex sighs. she has it all under control now. the urges, the thirst. she is handling it. she likes to think it’s because she knew what to expect of the turning, or because she felt the transformation a long time ago. she is a vampire now. surprisingly, she is alright with it now. she can help her family now. “I’m sorry. I was. . .adjusting.“ @heavensuffered gets vampire alex.
yo, what if I made my main verse for alex. . .but she a vamp? they got to her and she is still trying to help people while being what she hated the most.

“Don’t thank us yet.” Because Jesse’s freedom will mean nothing if Chuck succeeds in destroying the universe and eventually there will be nowhere left to hide. He isn’t going to stop until every shred of humanity is gone, until only him and the Darkness are left. “If we—if we can’t stop him then . . . we lose everything.”
“STOP GOD? well, good luck on that one.“ one thing was the devil, he had felt it, when lucifer was caged again, and when he died, only a couple of years ago. “I already lost everything, Sam. this world hasn’t been my home in forever.”

“i think i’m the lucky one.” how she put up with any of them, sam really didn’t know, and of course he was afraid that him caring about her would get eileen killed. but he was tired of being alone. he gives her a small smile as he sits back down again so he can look at the case. “it definitely looks like our kind of thing, you want me to drive?” he didn’t think twice about offering to go.
“you sure you don’t have anything else?“ she knows how both sam and dean have their own little troubles, and little was an understatement considering their lives. and so, eileen doesn’t wish to intrude. but he is offering, and eileen simply nods. “I’ll get my things and we go.”
