Too many people treat cashiers as if we’re basically a self scan. Like they get offended if you ask “how are you?” as if transactions are supposed to be completely silent. Or the ones who won’t end a phone call. Or the ones who video chat at the register. Or the ones who won’t stop talking to their friend long enough for you to say “$24.73,” then get mad that you have to interrupt them to tell them their total. If I don’t tell you your total, you don’t know when to put in your card. If I don’t ask where you want the receipt, you’ll get mad that I put it in the bag. If I don’t say “have a good night,” I’m cold and rude. God forbid we ask you to be “present” during a transaction.
customers wanna be right soooo bad. like damn go clock in since u know so much
“This coupon isn’t working!” complains a customer who didn’t even try to scan the coupon.
I hate customers. If you’ve ever walked into a store fuck you
Maybe if you were a little nicer to that horse girl in middle school this return @ your hometown’s tjmaxx would be going a lot smoother rn
