The Harrington inn - a hotel constructed in 1896 and in 1989 it was converted to a assisted living center for seniors until finally closing for good in 2017, also has a crazy backstory, in 1905 a son of the original builder of the hotel died here (not sure how) and also in 1973 the hotel owner fell to his death in the elevator shaft while trying to repair it, I also was told that someone fell to their death on the main stairs but I couldn’t find anything about it, and then theirs also been several natural deaths here from when it was a assisted living center (not sure how much), and also a lot of famous people stayed here including the 33rd president Harry Truman who had his honeymoon here.
This place was way more beautiful then I was expecting it to be, and the rooftop view was so crazy, especially since we were near the river and could see Canada, also on the roof their was a little tower thing and we found 3 dudes staying the night in their (weren’t homeless lol) and they were cool af, and they knew about a huge abandoned paper mill like 5 minutes away that they’ve been to several times but they didn’t have cars so I drove them over to it and they showed us around that place too.
Took some more pictures at the abandoned psychiatric hospital
Abandoned psychiatric hospital warehouse, even though it’s just a warehouse with nothing in it, I still loved it here, felt like silent hill
Abandoned warehouse that was part of the psychiatric hospital, this one was actually only abandoned in 2023, I don’t even know why they don’t use it anymore, it’s in good condition
Finally got on the roof of the psychiatric hospital, was beautiful af but when we got to the highest part of the roof we noticed a guy parked right around the corner of where we parked and I was tweaking out for like 20 minutes thinking it was a cop but then it turned out to be some guy on lunch that worked at the active hospital, other then that I loved the roof
Some more pictures of this huge psychiatric hospital
This building was so massive this is barely any of the pictures and I haven’t event checked the whole thing out or gotten to the roof yet, but we also actually brought a emf reader here because this place is supposed to be haunted but the ghosts were scared or something
Went back to the psychiatric hospital
Couldn’t get into this bando school but still like these pictures I took
This school was massive, kinda wish I had a GoPro so I could just see it all again
Da first comedown bando edit? This the National guard armory tho
Videos of the abandoned mall, just wanted to make something with this demo
Some more pictures of the mental health center
