It is a legitimate criticism to suggest that maybe make a new villain instead of bringing starline back. It looks like you lack new ideas or have no confidence in new ideas when you are already relying resurrecting old villains.

Okay, so here's a weird question, do the Sonic characters have canon left/right handedness (or ambidextrous?) Just asking because I've noticed when I'm reading IDW that Surge is often drawn using her left hand, while Kit is more right hand, although I haven't studied the issues enough to know if this happens with the others.

Not sure if this is coincidence, artist preference or if it's actually something canon you guys follow.

All Sonic characters are right-handed by default, for simplicity's sake. But I am left-handed, and I often forget that and draw characters using their left more than they probably should. It's usually only checked and corrected when characters are writing.

(I've found that in a comic that is read-left-to-right, if you are doing a typical layout, you usually start with your first compositional subject aligned to the left side of the page/panel. That means that left-handed posing lends itself to to clearer silhouettes for the first subject. So sometimes having a character use their left hand is the best choice for clear storytelling, even if they're right-handed.)
