What are their thoughts on children?

Shadow thinks children are overstimulating, but he does see them as little people who change and grow. He definitely has a kind of respect and soft spot for children. Something something, the miracle of life is truly beautiful.

Sonic likes kids! He thinks they're funny. He likes playing with kids and humoring them. Though, he doesn't think he'd necessarily make a great parent, since he's irresponsible and moves like the wind, yk.

Okay, so!!! The Forget-Me-Knots are a fellow band, and since their involvement is a big part of the arc, that's what I named it after.

It actually follows some kinda music festival where a lot of bands are able to interact and get interviewed. The lead singer of FMK is Mina Mongoose, who had a crush on Sonic. She decided that now would be a great time to interact and try to get with him.

Mina is used to getting what she wants because of her status, so she kissed Sonic without his consent. And Sonic was NOT OKAY with that. Consent and autonomy is suuuper important to him, so he is PISSED. She got defensive when he got mad so she's mad too.

Because of the event, the situation garnered interest and people assumed Sonic had a relationship with Mina (or just assumed something was going on). Sonic denied everything he could and honestly, he TRIED to protect Mina's public image. But Mina tried to throw Sonic under the bus.

The discourse fizzled out after Amy, who was sick and tired of all of this, just announced that Sonic would never have any relationship with Mina BECAUSE HE'S GAY. END OF STORY.

So Sonic was forced out of the closet (he didn't wanna be out because it's nobody's business but his own) but, hey, at least it beat allegations.

This does sew some seeds of distrust which ESPECIALLY SUCKS because Sonic was the VICTIM. He didn't do anything wrong, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time

Anyways this is also how Shadow finds out Sonic is gay LMAO

This arc has a lot of focus on how autonomy is stripped from celebrities. Whether if be absolving them of guilt for wrongdoing, demanding to know everything about them, or just how they're put into unsavory situations BECAUSE of status, if that makes sense. Also how men are usually quicker to be blamed than women bc of some societal things. Yada yada
