The results indicate that most individuals, whether anxious or not, respond to fast threats in the same way. Basically, they run. But when it comes to slow threats, a person’s level of anxiety makes a difference: the more anxious they are, the sooner they will flee a dangerous situation.

wip progress sunday: how are your characters doing this week? any progress, any detrimental actions? would you like to share anything?

I haven’t been able to work on much because I’ve been sick.

My story titled (It’s a fanfic) “The Unknown Jedi” is stuck on the fifth chapter until I can figure out where precisely the major plot points are happening.

My story titled “Beauty, Love, and Dawn” (possibly temporary, original) is stuck until I develop the emotional bravery to “do the deed” and kill my main character. Eek. 🤓

It’s been a while. *sigh*

I am NOT abandoning any of my WIPs, btw. I’m taking a “hiatus of undetermined length” on my WIPs to pursue a few personal writing ideas. Namely, a series of one-shots/short stories. 

It has been too long since I have had some kind of fun writing a short story, and I do love them, soo much. 

I will still be updating this blog every (how often do I do this? every few weeks? Something like that.(Geezers, too long.)) 

Technically, I will still be working on my WIPs. Some of my planned short stories will be written in those universes, so I’ll continue to play in those sandboxes for a while.

How do your OC’s listen to music?

Vyri listens to music on board star ships. What else you gonna do when you have a 2 day journey several star systems away? She listens on VidTube, and in recordings in stores.

Thomas listens on Spotlight, which is VidTube except only for music - kinda like YouTube Music in our world. 

Beauty can make music play in her private surroundings with her mind. No one else can hear the music other than her. Music comes in from the living world, and then she hears it in a store or when she’s visible, she checks out YouTube or Spotify. 

Anna listens to the radio. She also plays music on YouTube, Spotify, iTunes - basically any music app you can find.

Which OC hates Facebook?

Basically all of them. 

Facebook is way outdated in TUJ. It doesn’t even exist in that world. Even if they were in our world, they wouldn’t use it because in our world it is losing popularity as they come of age.

Beauty doesn’t like Facebook, or its afterlife equivilant, Invisibook. She uses it, but if she had the option not to, she totally would stop using it.  

Anna totally has Facebook, so....

Which OC is a conspiracy theorist?

Vyri is literally a member of the rebellion against the Empire. I think she’s part of a conspiracy!!!! Same with Thomas.

Beauty is responsible for preventing the collapse of the human race, so like, it’s her job to keep up with possible “destroy the world” conspiracies.
