The first week of February's come and gone, but not before bestowing a gift in the form of a new album from Frightened Rabbit: Pedestrian Verse.
For those unfamiliar with this Scottish Indie band, be prepared for an impressive variety of sounds that culminate in an immaculate display of musical talent and a flare for composition. Creative vocals, witty lyrics and hard-hitting drums complement the pleasant (albeit melancholy) indie chords, and these guys aren't afraid of negative space.
This track in particular sounds kinda like a cross between the Harlem Shakes and Mumford & Sons. Sorta. Give it a listen.
A new tune from Lapalux almost always deserves a look and Swallowing Smoke (Alternate Version) is no exception. Lapalux hits the spot again with his dragged out, glittery, syrupy sound.
