Found a small (6” across) painted brass table. Going to be used as a doll prop. A little lemon juice later it cleaned up pretty nice.
$12
Childs play kitchen - 1940s. In the original box! Didn’t come home with me.
Gonna be posting as many of my old pics from my phone/iPad as I can. I’m sure folks won’t mind what with quarantine and all. Who doesn’t want more pug pictures?
I have Ummm, a huge backlog because I’m terribly inconsistent (like 800 photos. Ugh). That’s just old stuff that’s been clogging up my tech for a while.
So I will try my best.
Also did you know that we are featured if you search “puglife?” I get excited about dumb stuff like that.
Pugs! What fun!!
Found this pretty set at a local thrift store. I paid $4 each.
Did a little research and found they are made by a company called Pickard. The pattern is ‘Rose & Daisy #598’. Now discontinued. They were made between 1925-1938. I have found a few comparable sets online selling between $20 - $60 ea.
Found this super cute wooden armoire for doll clothes at a local thrift store. Paid $5
Found this pretty oval dish with hand-painted poppies at a thrift store. Paid $3.50. Bottom says Bavaria but no idea who the maker is. Very pretty.
Found this tiny little hand-painted oval dish at a thrift store in Reno. Paid $5. The maker is ‘Schumann Bavaria - Germany US Zone’. Pattern name is ‘Chateau’. Found a comparable item online selling for over $40.
