serious question where are you supposed to look when passing someone on a sidewalk or hallway or wherever. i dread every second of it and it makes my body hurt. if i make eye contact i have to smile and that’s a bit forward plus my fake smile looks extremely condescending, if i look at the ground they’ll think i’ve granted them superiority, if i look straight ahead they’ll think i’m a robot, which is true but i don’t want it to be obvious. tell me. what do you do
