Independent bookstores, and booksellers, get a lifeline just when they need it most.

Independent bookstores around the country have a particularly clever lifeline, one perfectly suited to the unprecedented moment we find ourselves in. The strange part? It came into being just weeks before the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, and before the bookstores started closing up shop wondering if they’d reopen at all.

The lifeline in question is called Bookshop. 

In simple terms, it’s a super clean, user-friendly online bookstore whose raison d’être is supporting independent bookstores — not simply with exposure or resources (though that’s certainly a factor), but with cold hard cash…

I am so excited. Two years ago I mentioned in an AN that I had written ‘bezoar hat’ as a note for a chapter but totally forgot what it was. A wonderful reader, PandaMega, had been intrigued by that, and thought of a few different things it could have been AND ONE OF THEM WAS IT! The next chapter is gonna have an update to the bezoar hats.

Your SNAKES fic is genuinely one of my favourite canon divergent fics in like all of hp, and im literally only on Chapter 45, though I have been binge reading it between exams lol. I've laughed so so many times, I love the character dynamics so much omg i cannot go back to canon without the exasperated reluctant father that is voldemort and his hyperactive son harry. And of course, my loves Bob, Charybdis and Brownie 🫶 literally just wanted to appreciate all the work you put into it, cuz its amazing

The tentacles have a mechanosensory function, able to detect small movements in the water.
