"Oh! Good then." Asteria cooed, placing her hands behind her back as she made her way closer to Hoolay as the iron-rich tang of blood hit her nose as she closed the distance.

She smiled a bit wider, "I promise I wouldn't taste all that good anyways. Wouldn't taste very human at all, wouldn't be satisfying." Asteria said. "I've been very interested in you, though! Ever since I saw you get locked up." She nodded firmly. "Figured it was a little unfair, honestly."

"Do you judge another for having only claws for hands and not use them?"

Claws were a borisin natural defence against the world, against the galaxy at large. Shockwaves, strength, everything. Blood is ripe on his claws as he picks up the prey with one hand.

"You could make less clutter when you're so hungry, honestly..." Asteria sighed, looking around at the mess he had left as she proceeded a few steps closer to Hoolay.

There was not even an inkling of fear within her form, arms crossed loosely over her chest as she surveyed the blood pooling at the beast's feet, evident of his recent feast.

"Not that I will fault you for doing as you must to live. Some of your prey surely deserve such an ending." She hummed thoughtfully as a small hint of a smile curled at her lips. "I am not your enemy though, surely that must give me a pass in your next inevitable hunger rampage." Asteria giggled.

a  little  sigh  escapes  him  at  her  dismissal  of  his  warning.  this  is  why  he  doesn't  bother  to  waste  his  breath  when  interacting  with  others.  “  fine,  should  something  happen  to  you,  i  won't  come  and  aid  you.  ”  a  hand  lifts  to  briefly  wave,  as  if  bidding  his  concern  farewell.  “  if  you  must  know,  i  go  by  moze.  ”

Asteria was almost more than content on letting him leave as she was now more curious on what he could've been warning her about.

But then the name he gave her clicked in her head.

"Oh!" She gasped and it was like she disappeared into thin air before she reappeared almost directly in front of the man with a wide gaze. "I know you!" Asteria nodded, then paused. "W-Well, not directly or anything. We've never met, but I've heard your name before!" She clarified swiftly.

Another small pause. "Oh! You're friends with that fox man, uh...Jiaoqiu..?" She mumbled the foxian's name sheepishly.

The whine that followed her at the mention of doing some work just made Kyu slouch slightly (not too much, apparently Eri was a channeling her inner cat...) and she just looked down at her with a huff.

"I'm gonna get snapped at by Mataro anyway for it being semi-late or doing it in class so what's the point when I can go enjoy a nice boba and manga instead?" She just frowned at the mere notion, "plus I look at it and my brain hurts, I need a sugar daddy but for homework and money, nothing else..."

Good luck, Asteria, she was stubborn and dead set on avoiding it.

"besides can't I be pretty and smart without the work?"

"You're already pretty and smart, dear. That's why your work should be easy enough." Asteria pouted right back at her as she reached up with one hand to play with Kyu's hair absentmindedly.

Though after a moment, she puffed out her cheeks, "I...guess I can make an exception this time, though. I have been rather curious about the flavors of boba they might have. There are a few I've yet to try..." Asteria mumbled under her breath.

"I think I can take care of myself just fine if anything, or anyone, were to try anything." She hummed, "I promise I'm not a damsel or what have you." She shrugged. "I very much appreciate your concern though, Mr...?" Asteria trailed off, as if asking for a name.

Unfortunately, Asteria hadn't been fast enough to catch the person who had left such nice gifts by her door. She had only known of their arrival by the sweet scent of the candies picked up by her sensitive nose.

She picked up both the box and the stone and spared one more glance around the area as though she'd be able to catch a glimpse of the mysterious benefactor.

"Hm. At least allow me to send you a thank you card.." Asteria mumbled out loud.

Head twitch, claws dripping with fresh kill. wether it was a person or not is not...out of the question but something people are free to ignore-

Asteria stared at the scene before her with little reaction, as though the sight of the beast and his bloodstained claws was a normal occurrence for her. That wasn't to say there was still the slightest tinge of unease somewhere deep in her gut.

Just...not enough for her to react poorly.

"The claw marks scattered around led me to believe I'd come across an actual dog. Do you often go on little rampages when you're hungry..?" She asked bluntly.

"You're quite outspoken, aren't ya?"

There's not apparent reproach to the statement, rather simply being a fact he's noticed and stated. His smile is open, easygoing, his expression somewhat amused if not precisely with her, but the whole situation they find themselves in. Maybe he shares the feeling then.

"I'm no noble knight. I'm not bending my knee nor swearing my loyalty. You want the grial? I'll get it. That's no vow, just a fact. I do, however, have some requests before fulfilling the contract. Think you can keep up, or would you rather end it here?"

There was something in the way he said that last part, the way his easy smile didn't stutter even when the slit pupils narrowed. It was simply too genuine, too cheerful, that smile of his, contorting the scales at the corner of his mouth in a grotesque grimace.

Asteria really had no expectations of who would come out of this summoning ritual. She had no relic of a hero to gain an advantage on the pick, but there really wasn't any reason to care in the long run.

But the one standing in front of her surely was...interesting to say the least.

"You've been in this realm for all of about...a minute, and you already have requests?" Asteria gawked slightly, merely in disbelief at the other's words. "Is that a normal thing? Do all you Heroic Spirits respond to the summoning with a list of requests..?" She mumbled as the question was not necessarily directed at him nor was it merely a jest. For someone who was clearly a mage, it had been a strikingly genuine question.

"I guess it depends on the requests then!" Asteria clapped her hands together once as she headed forwards a few steps to properly close some distance between herself and the servant. "Go ahead and tell me then, Mr. Servant." She hummed.

it’s so funny seeing everyone being so active on the weekends because i gotta be the opposite-

hubby works during the week so that’s when i am the most active and then my weekends are all taken up by just couch rotting with him !!

Unfortunately for Kyu, the moment the woman patted her lap to fix her skirt, Asteria had merely seen it as an invitation instead.

Curling up sweetly with her head on Kyu's lap, Asteria yawned and hummed in a way that nearly sounded like a cat's purr. "Kyu, my love, I'll agree with your excursion on the promise that you at least do some of your work." She cooed, one of her eyes opening slightly as she peeked up at the other woman.

If there was anyone to have wrapped around your finger, Kyu, surely the literal physical embodiment of Fate was the best choice!!
