So, who would like a limited edition print? 😉 . I’m really pleased with how this turned out, the intaglio process I‘ve used really presses the ink in to the paper and adds a fantastic richness to the work that I’m very happy with. Controlling the ink left on the plate adds an atmosphere to the original drawing that I enjoy and means each print comes out unique . So after all the tests here’s the final plate inked up and wiped down ready for printing. This stage is always a little nerve wracking as I’m still unsure if the plate was made properly, if the press pressure is correct and numerous other little niggling issues. But, it’s time to print and see where we’re at. What do we think? Hi all, it’s been a little while but I’ve been on holiday for the past couple of weeks. Thank you to all my new followers! It's greatly appreciated. When I'm not busying myself with pet portraits I'm working on this series of wildlife illustrations.
