Tonight is the first edition of the Chance to Dance Festival hosted by the Chance to Dance Foundation.
We will be presenting one of Peter Leung’s newest works at the event: Still Life, a duet for Hannah Grennell and Skyler Martin. The performance starts at 20:00 at Toren, just footsteps off the ferry from Central Station. Entrance is donation based.

P.S. You might see the name House of Makers floating around a few places...don't worry, we will tell you more about that soon!
The Chance to Dance Foundation is a non profit organization with the goal of giving children from all over the world with lesser opportunities a positive dance experience. They do this by teaching dance classes for two months and working towards a performance. They had great success last winter with their second project in Jakarta, Indonesia, teaching 80 former street children and giving them the opportunity to perform the Nutcracker at the Erasmushuis, the cultural center of the dutch Embassy.
The Chance to Dance Festival will be a full evening program in which the foundation will present their latest project in Jakarta as well as their future plans. There will be amazing dance performances, live music, food, drinks and the night will end with some booming DJ’s!
