Rewatching S2:E16 and I wonder if the reason Momiji didn’t hug Tohru is just in case Momo was still there watching them. I know it’s past the point in the story where we see them transform, but I don’t think Momiji would hesitate to hug her otherwise. Even for Kyo’s sake.

I still think we might get katsuya’s face at the end if they show the final set up of the shrine type thing in the credits or something.

I know it’s not that serious, but I want to know more of the law behind the zodiac curse/promise. When did it go from the original promise to the current day curse?

When did it become people cursed with the zodiac spirit as opposed to just actual animals?

I get the turning when sick/weakened, but turning when hugged by the opposite sex? I get the drama aspect, but why? 😫

Why does it only effect the Sohma clan? It doesn’t seem like the OG God reproduced.

How did the cat find out about the prayer beads stopping him from being the ‘monster’? I demand a side story of the epic quest to discover a way to help the cat.

I love learning about mythology’s and lore, and I want more history about the past cursed animals/people.

Some final thoughts on the confrontation scene between Yuki and Kyo:

I watched the sub and holy shit Nobunaga Shimazaki slayed that scene. I mean, the English generally hits different for me since it’s the language I speak, but damn.

I’m glad they at least put a still of the grocery store date after they cut that scene.

As funny as Haru ordering pizza and nuggets was, it was the water bottle that made me pause it to laugh. First crash it tipped over. Second crash it yeeted off the table. Peak humour, honestly.

Kinda wish we got the rest of the conversation between Tohru’s Grandpa and Yuki. Yuki says Kyo isn’t at the hospital because he’s being an idiot and Grandpa says ‘maybe you should teach him a lesson’ or something like that.

I agree that the anime was better in that it cut out all the Uo and Hana not letting Kyo see Tohru, and instead had him running like he always does. But I do kind of miss just how angry Uo and Hana got:

Some other things I hope we see going forward are more Yuchi, Kazuma being proud of the steps Kyo has taken and Hana flirting with Kazuma to mess with Kyo. I’ve lost hope of us ever getting Komaki if I’m honest.
