mad maggie's new whip finisher is actually so disgusting. not only has respawn constantly given nonblack legends braids and dreads, they decided not only to have a whip finisher(?) but to release it during black history month? her finisher is unsettling just to watch as a black apex stan. i already get called slurs at least once a day in this game, you know racists are gonna abuse the hell outta this - im sick to my stomach

It's the future in apex, dreads and braids are probably more acceptable. Or is this just cause maggie is tan and not black? Braids and dreads yes are apart of black culture how ever many other cultures used Them as well. On top of that that's just the string from her wrecking ball, not a whip. Yeah she uses it like one, but it's fits her CHARACTER. It's not a race thing, it's a character thing. They make designs that fit the character, besides who knows maybe on Salvo braids and dreads are a big part of their culture. Maybe salvonions in apex have been using them for a few centuries.

The cultures in apex can reference the real world yes. But apex is it's own universe with its own cultures. It's not a race thing. It's a character and world thing.

Also... respawn is active black lives matter company. (They have whole badges dedicated to lgbtq+, Asian lives, and black lives) so far... your the only person who has complained.
