PS: On that second slide, in "purposely built an android that looks exactly like a human", my point is that Beatrix should undergo a redesign. Her robotic arms and legs replaced by "human" ones. She'd have fabricated organs too. Any molecular or celullar damage immediately self-corrects. I'm this 🤏 close to making my own Frankestein's monster.

Haii, question!
While going through this blog again searching for a specific older art (which I found! joyz) I got reminded that Beatrix and Hunter would be the protagonists of season 3 of this series that you plan Fusionsprunt to be, and I wanted to ask, who would fullfill those roles in season 1 and 2?
Season 1 focuses on explaining Beatrix's birth and robots vs humans conflicts from Bortom's side — Gideon, Camile, Kauan and Beatrix herself lead the story interchangeably. It's all about how each reacts to an impending war and city politics.
Season 2 follows Beatrix after the war, and gets A LOT deeper into her character than before.
Pre-War Beatrix being obviously unhinged because her understanding of love is based on self-destruction as an inevitable sacrifice and connection with another as an irreplaceable need that she cannot fulfill.
I mean, which is pretty fucked up. Later on she gets frustrated when others won't sacrifice as much as she did for them. Her first response is to get angry as a self-defense mechanism and then proceed to feel abandoned when really, she never questioned her beliefs while too focused on how much it hurt.
I think there's a lot of self-hatred within Beatrix that gave way for those thoughts to take root early. It definitely affects her personal relationships. It goes as far as affecting her view on humanity.
I watched Bambi the night before making these designs. Thinking about adding a horse equivalent animal to the story. They seem small here but they're actually quite big, and very aggressive too. They turned out good, but it doesn't quite vibe with my idea of what a futuristic horse equivalent should be like (I'm thinking strange-looking, chunky and clumsy quadruped animal that seems unsettling but is actually very sensitive). I guess that makes these designs more Bambi equivalent instead?
Nature tends to follow patterns all the time, so I don't thinking it would be a huge surprise that species from the far away future ressemble their ancestors in some ways. Modern mammals are very weird themselves tbh. I mean, if our biodiversity had evolved differently and someone directed a sci-fi film and designed the animals we are familiar with now, I'm pretty sure people would be creeped out. Cows are very cute and we are familiar with their appearance, but if you take a closer look — a REALLY good look — you'll see how strange they are. It's almost silly.

The funniest part about putting my OCs in The Sims was seeing Hunter talking and giggling in his sleep while Beatrix sleeps like a rock (biblically accurate)
He also kept on flirting with Bee all the time. normally i wouldn't mind but GOD DAMN CHILL OUT!!!! it wouldn't be much of an issue if she didn't have a job. he kept on looking for her around the house like a lost puppy

meet the story's main antagonist and Bortom City's number one enforcer — Commander Rahyet (she/her)
While Beatrix adjusted to her new life in Fusionsprunt, Bortom City leaders voted for a new android model that would pass the idea of protection and safety to the population while also posing a threat to rising rebel groups beyond the city borders. Thus, Commander Rahyet was born.
They've learned their lesson, created a compliant machine whose only purpose is to spread its directive by erasing the victim's code and replacing it with its own.
