With how Kaneki was completely amazed by the feel of her boobs and thus couldn’t stop touching it and apparently making a super lewd face to the point where Touka says it’s weirding her out? (Yes, it was just as hilarious and awkward as it sounds)

How Touka saw that Kaneki was feeling insecure about his scaly arms and apologized to her, so Touka wordless undressed herself as well so that he doesn’t feel awkward and also indirectly telling him that she doesn’t mind at all. (Man, I can’t believe our hc of Kaneki touching her with his scaly hands became canon😂)

With Touka planting soft kisses all over his body to the point Kaneki isn’t sure himself if he’s ticklish 👌

Are people actually treating this chapter as just a perverted hentai chapter with no meaning? At this point I cant even tell if they’re trolling or serious

If you have been reading tokyo ghoul, you should realize that ishida puts every chapter, scene and dialogues with meaning. So do you actually think that an ishida would spend AN ENTIRE FLIPPIN CHAPTER of kaniki’s and touka’s sexual intercourse with NO MEANING AT ALL? Like come on lol did you guys not see kaneki’s tears or the last scene? or have you guys given ANY THOUGHTS on why on earth there’s a picture of a butterfly in the first page?

in my view this is some important process for kaneki’s development. Kaneki used to feel lonely and suicidal and all, and through arima he wanted to live again but it was more due to a sense of duty. Although he wanted to live, he had nothing to grasp on to make that feeling come alive. 

But through this chapter, he gained it through touka. He feels wanted and doesn’t feel lonely, as shown through the last panel of this chapter, where he is looking like a child sleeping on his mother’s laps, feeling warm and comfortable for once. This panel is all the more obvious if you see ishida’s older painting of kaneki in the same exact pose, except there’s no touka. 

And some people are acting as if the series has been butchered or it turned into some shit writing lmao

people often see sex/smut as plain fanservice and don’t bother to search deeper meaning of it. They see fanservices too much on their life.  Tbh this reminds me of Kuzu no Honkai controversy.

Tokyo Ghoul Re 125

After reading the whole chapter, I can confirm they did it on whim. We know plenty of reasons for sex (50, according to HIMYM) and for me, they did this because they’ve driven to corner (Touka seeing Yoriko captured, Kaneki chased by his beloved ex junior) They don’t know what they’re doing. They were running away and maybe after this, they will regret it. The reversed 6(The Lovers reversed) make the bad omen feels stronger.

But I have no complain as Touken shipper. This chapter is beautiful.

But please. No tragedy please. And by tragedy I don’t mean they dying. There are far more worse tragedies than that. Oh ishida...

EDIT: Turns out the number may be 19 “The Sun” reversed.
