After the events of All New, Faded For Her.

Solas has lost a friend, a spirit of wisdom taken by mages and twisted into a demonic form. The spirit was beyond saving and Solas was forced to release it into the fade, scattering its being to the winds of change. Gone. Now he must process the injustice, and grief and anger hit hard.

“Solas?”

“Andraste’s balls it’s cold -“

“You needn’t grieve alone Solas.. if you do not wish to. I am here if you need me.”

“…”

“Thank you.”

In the rotunda, it is past 2 am. Inspired by Sola’s tales and her desire to improve her knowledge for the fight, the Inquisitor wished to apply herself to the study of the fade. Lulled by the candle light and the soft pat of Solas’s feet as he paces in thought, Lavellan slips into a comfortable slumber.
