Wow Jennifer's lost so much weight. She looks amazing but so thin.

I can’t see much of a difference from earlier. But different kind of exercise will do different things to the body. She’s likely been training for X-Men and done a lot of pilates to tone the body even more. She looks incredibly healthy, as usual.

We don’t want to be thought of as gullible, do we? 

The belief in elaborate game playing and stage-managing of private lives - the insistence that ‘everybody does it’, regardless of character - insulates us against ever being accused of credulousness. 

On the other hand there is never any consequence to our ego if we spout such theories. Maybe we didn’t get the details right, but we showed ourselves to be wise to the manipulations regularly employed. And since such theorising usually pertains to that which is unknowable, there’s little likelihood of them ever being disproved to the extent that we might be embarrassed for having advanced them in the first place.

And of course the fact that we can point to occasions where some have engaged in this kind of public relations gambit, as proof that it is merely standard practice for the industry, makes it all the easier to mount these insubstantial theories whenever it suits us.

Aronofsky and Lawrence went to the pictures. They got photographed by the paparazzi. The end. Anyone who wants to believe it staged is free to do so, but I’ll continue to rely on simple, uncomplicated explanations to what I’m presented with, until such times as I’m given actual proof of something more complex and deterministic. No such proof exists here, and nothing that’s been offered as ‘evidence’ is at all credible.

Imagine spending your time sending people messages, people who you know won’t agree with you, simply because two people are in a relationship and you don’t like it. Here’s the thing, I’m a fan of both of these people, and I really don’t care that they’re dating.

I’m continually baffled though, not only by those who do, but by those who get bent out of shape because they’re invested in a different relationship happening, or are so opposed to this one that they have to make up conspiracy theories to render it false.

Then, worst of all, they express condemnation of the players in this imagined conspiracy, spewing invective in the guise of righteous indignation, when what they’re really looking to do is safely attack these people because they don’t like that they’re dating.

Apart from anything else, how is that not just exhausting?

Just a sidenote but this talk of the same pap agency is ridiculous. When I lived in NY a friend sometimes took pictures of celebs when he had no other photography work. He would send the pics to one of these agencies. He just happened to see someone and then took photos, not my kind of work but guess a guy has to eat. Anyway, these agencies don't have staff paps but all are freelance. They just send pics to one and then the agency sells them for them. It's not a newspaper with an adenga 😳
