Blaze's Lovelee Dae has had numerous remixes, on various labels and, in different genres. But the original still does the trick with its classic deep house bass-line and warm vocals. Released originally in 1997 on Derrick Carter's and Luke Solomon's Classic imprint, and although over a decade old it's still a Lovelee Dae!
Strange sounds, strange name, strange Aeons, but a what a beauty of a track. Snoretex (Sam Willis = 1/2 of Walls) produced this wonderful downtempo dreamy house track, which was released on Buzzin' Fly Records a couple of months ago.
Duff Disco brings you this slomo house track which has summer written all over. Remixed by the Canadian Disco man Eddie C and released on the French Composite Records late 2010, which is run by Alain Ho, better known as DJ Yellow. Enjoy it on the first day of summer!
Can You Feel It is without doubt one the most popular and well known house tracks to be released under Larry Heard's moniker Mr. Fingers. Originally released in 1986 (!) on the influential Trax Records and now remixed by the Irish John Daly. Although the original still sounds fresh today, Daly makes it sound a bit more raw, and just like the original instrumental version this version is without the Robert Owens vocals. Classic!
Nicholas - All Night Long
The Italian producer Nicholas (Iammatteo) releases yet another beautiful deep house track. Nicholas mostly releases on the No More Hits imprint, but this time on the Dutch label 4 Lux, which is owned by Gerd. All Night Long is an old school 90's piano House track that will make you smile.
Apologist - Eve
Maybe a bit too trancy for some, but sometimes trance isn't bad at all. The Apologists' Eve is an uptempo house track released on François K's Wave Music label in 2008. Love it or hate it, but it will work on those special occasions.
No words necessary. Just enjoy this wonderful edit of How We Walk on the Moon from avant-garde artist Arthur Russel. It floated the Internet for some time, but was released on the Foot & Mouth imprint in 2011.
Former keyboard player Dan Berkson's second release on one of the labels of the moment: Crosstown Rebels. Anything For You is a slow-burning emotional deep house track with a wobbly bassline and super catchy vocals. Released in April this year, still one of the better tracks from Damian Lazarus's imprint.
A great new release from the wonderful Apersonal Music label from Barcelona. Watch Your Back is a catchy disco house track from the Russian Volta Cab. Just like the rest of the EP, it has summer written all over it. Wow!
A raw Chigaco-ish vintage house track by the mysterious Tyrez. Not much information is to be found on Tyrez, and s/he could either be a newcomer or an established name, as it sounds a bit like the work of Tevo Howard. Functional Love was the fourth release on Steffi's label Dolly and was released late 2010.
Over 20 years old, but still sounding fresh, this Cumulonimbus (Pal Joey) remix of The Orb's Little Fluffy Clouds. Enjoy this somewhat dreamy and druggy leftfield, ambient track.
Eyes closed, volume super loud and drift away with this epic, cathedral-like down-tempo techno track released by Inigo Kennedy on the Belgium techno imprint, Token late 2010.

Next to Deep Burnt, undoubtedly the best record released by Pépé Bradock on his own Avatisme imprint in 2009. Path of Most Resistance is a wonderful peace of music with its almost melancholic synth melody and old-school house drive.
A great track by Nina Simone in a François K remix released on Innervisions. Although released in 2008 this is still one of those records that can be played over and over again without losing the emotional reactions it evokes.
