          it takes a moment for harry to look at helena, his attention locked somewhere beyond the realm of what’s in front of them, and when he does he can barely contain an eyeroll. he’s not here for the dance, not really. he just figures the easiest route to intoxication would be at the direct source. unfortunately, the downside of that is, well... people. ❝ so you can trap me in a lecture? think i’ll pass, wu, ❞ he grumbles.

Helena’s eyes narrowed slightly. Most people didn’t know just how hard it was for her to keep up this positive, happy, sunny mood, especially in their current situation. Getting to drop it was almost a relief. “Well, to use your own words, I wouldn’t change any part of me.” She said flatly. “In case you forgot, Erin, no one is coming to help us or restock the shelves, or clean up any messes that we make of the town. In that regard, we’re on our own. Not to mention, I think there are more than enough people out there ‘fucking some shit up’, as you put it, as it is. So, no, I’m good, thanks.”

     If she bothered to count, Delaney was pretty sure she spent more time rolling her eyes than anything else when Nathan was around — not that she was complaining. An eye-roll from Delaney was basically a compliment, if you knew her well enough to decipher it. “I take it back. I don’t want to be Patty.” Leave it to him to ruin a perfectly good character with a terrible nickname. As they neared the pizza parlor she frequented, she asked, “Remind me why we hang out again?”
