Most, but not all. No, I haven’t, but that’s really… weird. When I feel lonely and sad, I buy more plants. The forget-me-nots were bought when Oreo ate my violets. I’ll probably go out and buy more plants later today. I could totally handle a cat! Just not, y’know, Oreo. Yeah, but they need some sort of a mechanism that defends them against hungry cats as well, and I just can’t figure that last part out.

True, but I think that's the case for all species, even humans. Plants are your key to happiness? To each their own, and I s'pose it's better than, like, hardcore drugs or something of the life. You're a simple guy, aren't you? Easy to please. I don't think you could handle a cat, though. Why don't you just keep them inside, by a window?

I think my neighbors would press charges if I were to kidnap - um, catnap - Oreo. Don’t know what they see in him, though, ‘cause all he does is eat things he’s not supposed to eat and sleep where he’s not supposed to sleep. Babies cry. I think I’d be better off if flowers cried, too.

Cats are cute, though. And I'm not sure about your personal life or whatever, but -- have you seen the movie The Heat? Well, Sandra Bullock basically uses her neighbor's cat as her own because she's lonely and sad. So if you're ever feeling lonely and sad, catnap away. But now that I'm thinking about it, 'm not sure you could handle a cat. You couldn't even handle flowers, for Christ's sake. They only need air, water and sunlight!

I didn’t come up with it, my neighbors did. I think he kind of looks like an oreo. If it were up to me, though, I’d name him Blue, ‘cause he only ever eats my blue flowers. Just because I can’t manage flowers, though, doesn’t mean I can’t take care of a kid! It’s just that flowers - plants in general - can’t tell you what they need and when they need it, y’know? I need cues and plants never give any.

Interesting. Well, at least you know how to catch him, if you ever needed to do that. Just lure him in with blue flowers. You could catnap him without a trace of evidence if you use the flowers, because he'd just eat them. Not that I'm condoning cat kidnapping, but if you ever needed to do it, you have the ability to. Anyway -- kids, well, babies, don't tell you what's wrong, either. Flowers are much easier to care for than kids!

Oreo’s fine. I think she was laughing at me when I came home. Like I said, I’ve been trying to get them to bloom for a long time now - 3 months, actually. That’s the longest a flower’s ever lasted under my care.

Oreo, such an original cat name. Well, remind me not to leave any flowers with you. Or pets, for that matter. I hope you don't plan on having kids one day.

My neighbor’s cat ate all the forget-me-nots I’ve been trying to bloom for ages. I was really sad, so I thought I’d bury the remnants, y’know, as, like, a funeral. But then I realized they were already in the ground. Rest in peace.

Oi, you should make sure the cat is okay. Some plants are poisonous to animals. But, anyway -- a funeral for flowers? Is there a reason you're so emotionally attached? You could just buy some at the store.
