Good morning Thistland and surrounding areas

We're looking at clear, bright skies today through the weekend with sparse cloud cover save for a lot chance of snow. With summer simmering down as we start to inch closer to fall, we're looking at highs in the mid 60s through friday, with a low in the 40s come thursday- supposed to be a wind storm that day so batten down while you have time.

Today we're looking at a comfortable 65 across the hour, with our daily high of 67. Comfortable enough for shorts, but maybe consider some light pants too. As we enter the afternoon we will have some sparse cloud cover from the north west along the Black Orchard and a high humidity of 78%. Hahaha, its a bit soggy out there even for my sensibilities, huh? Especially given the freak rain we had last night.

The Diner is looking for a new fry cook! Johnny's getting ready to head off to Nothshowran University in the big city- here's to ya kiddo, you're going to make it big. Your local goddess believes in your success. Applicants are asked to have a resume ready if possible, unless this is your first job. Don't worry too much folks, the owner is a fair man and will give folks their chances. My advice? Learn to flip on the flat top and roll fries in the oil. Oh and how to cut and batter onion rings, Bob likes to make em old fashioned and im inclined to agree to the method he likes.

Maharashtra Farms is also hiring for their annual fall festivities. While a seasonal position, it's great for those who like animals and plants and running the gift shop while not being eaten by the things that crawl out of the gourds.

I do not think I was around for the haunted house one, which I believe was Duskmourn, but it does seem fun. Impending ( decreased mana cost in exchange for a delayed summoning) and Manifest Dread ( anonymous facedown 2/2 creatures that can be turned up at any time for their mana cost ) are interesting mechanics.

I liked the one with the big beasts and mutations which is Ikoria. The card stacks can get really big with the mutations.
