PMD, Personal Microderm

    So, I bought the PMD since last year and immediately began using it since I read tons of reviews and ALL of them were positive. So I decided to invest (I think) $100 dollars and buy it at amazon, since it was like $75 dollars cheaper there. 

  Like everything else, YOU MUST READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST! it's not only about opening it and using it. nono! First you have to wash your face, wait until it completely dries, so wait 10-15 minutes after you washed your face, and don't put anything on. It comes with 3 types of disks, a white one, several blue and green ones. The white one is only for you to practice and to use it at the beginning, then, depending on how sensitive your skin is, you can either use the blue or green one, the green disk is like the intense one, so if your skin is not sensitive or you want to use it in your body that's the best one.

  Ok, so, I began using it and I did see results. Since I'm 25 I have little wrinkles on my forehead, and after using it for a couple of weeks they were GONE! So I can say that, yes, PMD does work for wrinkles! 

  Another thing, I have cystic acne, so sometimes when I break out, it's awful and I have awful acne scars. And That's usually the main reason why I decided to buy this, to get rid of my acne scars.

  But almost a mont after using it I began to see that I was breaking out, AWFUL! like never in my life, I've had acne since I was 14, but never the way I did back then. It was so bad that sometimes I couldn't even smile or move my face a certain way because the cysts would hurt (yes, that awful). Eventually I had to go to a dermatologist and take medication, of course I knew the acne was going to go away eventually, but I was worried about the scars. That awful acne breakout was back in October/November 2012 and by today May 2013 I still have redness and of course, scars. 

  I have no idea what made me breakout like that, I had been using EVERYTHING I did since months and my life was the same, my food also, everything was the same, EXCEPT the fact that I started using the PMD. Could that be the reason why I started breaking out? The PMD works by getting rid of a thin layer of your skin, which is why you have to pass the PMD through your face somewhat fast, and then by getting rid of that thin layer, your cells have to create "new skin". It also cleans everything under your skin so you can have new and better skin. 

So I want to believe that I had a lot of bad stuff going on under my skin and it just came out, because it was cleaning everything under. 

  Now, May 2013 I decided to give it another opportunity. I've used it so far two times, and I have to say that unfortunately I've had some break outs, not as bad as the first time, just tiny little red bumps, but they're still breakouts. I'm actually going to improve my face-wash routine and see if those breakouts are because I'm not doing something right, or if it's because there's something going on with the PMD.

  Fortunately the wrinkles between my eyebrows are not as visible as before.We'll just have to wait and see.

But I wil definitely let you know ;)

Valentine's day nails ❤💌

1.- I used red nail polish because it's valentine's, but you can use any color you want. Wait until it dries and apply a top coat, I highly suggest you doing this.

2.- I used tape, but you can use anything that sticks and you can draw a shape and cut it out. I of course did a heart.

3.- You put the tape on your nail, but pleaaase wait until it is COMPLETLY DRY! If not when you remove the tape the nailpolish will be ruined! ok so, then you proceed to apply the different nail polish and wait until it dries BUT! don't wait too long or the tape will ruin your nail polish, but that's the reason I suggested you applied the top coat, it will protect your nail polish a lot.

4.- After you waited a decent time, enough for the nail polish to dry but not too long for the tape to stick to your nail, carefully remove the tape. You can fix any errors you might of had with some nail polish remover and a needle, just be extra careful. And after that add another coat of top coat aaaand you're all set!

20 min. Masque for oily skin. Night use only!

1.- Only use the egg white.

2.- Add about 1 or 2 tbsp of oatmeal. 

3.- 1 tbsp of lemon juice

4.- Mix them all up with a plastic spoon (yes, the plastic is  MUST!)

5.- Leave it on for 15-20 mins 

6.- Rinse with cold water, yes it is a MUST! 

Since you are using lemon you MUST (yes again) use sunblock EVERY SINGLE DAY! And I highly suggest you do this at night, because like I said you are using lemon and it can stain your face.

Last thing, this has been one of the best things I've used for oily skin, I loved it.

A helpful home remedy for cystic acne. For more info check out www.fydoiy.tumblr.com !

FIRST OF ALL! Be aware that this might not get rid of your acne in one day, it's gradually AND that you have to visit a dermatologist, because cystic acne is really one of the worst type of acne you can have. I have been using if for two weeks and it has helped me by drying the acne and the calamine is helping me with the redness and itchiness. If you have really sensitive skin I suggets you take it slowly because the baking soda can really dry your face and it's not going to look good, although the calamine helps for that.  

1.- Half of a tbsp of baking soda (or it depends on how much you want to use)

2.- Add enough water to create a paste, you really might need a couple of water drops since a little water works.

3.- Put it on where your acne is. You can actually put it on your entire face, since it also works as an exfoliator.

4.- Wait approximately 15 minutes, it does burn a little and more if you have really sensitive skin, so if you can't wait the whole 15 minutes thats ok, 5 mins can also work.

5.- After you rinse and use your toner and moisturizer, in a cotton ball add some drops of calamine and put it over your acne. Calamine works to get rid of the redness and itchiness, which are some symptoms of cystic acne.

I suggest once again to visit a dermatologist, mostly because cystic acne comes from deep down under your skin (very deep down) and this is the kind of acne that will leave scars on your face. Also remember to AVOID popping your pimples because that helps to spread the bacteria on your face which leads to more acne. Now if you must pop a pimple, wash your hands and after doing so with a cotton ball put some alcohol on or some toner to avoid spreading the bacteria.

Another good thing about baking soda is that it kills the acne bacteria. I suggest if you're doing this for the first time, to do it at night and NOT the night before a big event, do it if you're not going anywhere the next day, some people can be allergic to baking soda but it's hard to know.

Did your nail-polish stain your nails? This helps!

1.- Soak your nails for a couple of minutes in bleach, just remember to wear clothes that you don't care about, because you are using bleach and it will ruin your clothes for ever!

2.- After a couple of minutes dry your hands with a paper towel and wash them with soap afterwards.

It really works, I know it because I tried it myself (the picture above is mine).

JUST REMEMBER to wash your hands before (to avoid any kind of reaction if you have something in your hands, it's just in case) and after soaking your nails... because like I said you are using bleach and it is a strong chemical.

Also! If you have any type of cuts in your hands/nails it will sting, but just a few minutes (It's like if you put lime on a cut) but it goes away after washing your hands.

Halloween nails!! 🎃👻

1.- Paint your nails first with the color that you want to use in the middle (I used orange because that's how corn candy look) and wait until it dries COMPLETELY! 

2.- Cut a rectangular like piece of tape and put it on your nail exactly in the middle. 

3.- Paint the top and bottom of the tape, it doesn't matter if you paint where the tape is, that's the reason it's there, to protect the base color.

4.- Now, this is the tricky part, DON'T wait too much because the tape will ruin your base, so you have to be somewhat careful here, you have to wait the approximately exact time when the top and bottom are dry but you haven't waited too much. 

5.- After removing the tape just put on a top coat and you're all set!

For really damaged hair

1.- One egg, one tbsp (tablespoon) of EXTRA virgin (A MUST!) of olive oil, 2 tbsp of mayo and if your hair is really damaged you can add an avocado. 

2.- Mix them all up  with a plastic spoon (MUST also) and it's gonna look like picture No.3, yeah it doesn't look pretty, but it goes on your hair so don't worry.

3.- It has to go on your ends, and I do it by putting my hair in a side ponytail and I put it on, you can probably see it on picture No.4 

4.- After putting it on wrap it up with aluminum foil and if you want too you can add heat with your blow dryer, just not too much or too long, 

5.- Wait 30 minutes, hop in the shower rinse with cold water (or not too hot) use shampoo and conditioner, and you're set.

It's not going to work on the first time so remember to be consisten and do this every 10 days or 2 weeks if you want too and you will definitely see results!
