At some point last year I discovered the music of Stephen Stills and his bands Buffalo Springfield, CSNY and Manassas. It didn’t take long for him to become a musical hero of mine as a fantastic guitarist and songwriter. Happy Birthday Stephen!!!

Many happy returns to Stephen Stills, who celebrates his 71st birthday today. This foto was taken by Henry Diltz just before Stephen went on stage for a concert with Buffalo Springfield at the Hollywood Bowl in 1967.
