Hi. I've been really interested in lolita fashion for a long time and I recently started to build my wardrobe with basic lolita clothing. Shortly after I got my first few dresses, I was hospitalized for diabetes-related complications. I then contracted merca and am now an amputee, I've lost my left leg just below the knee. The hope is that I will be able to get prosthetics that I can incorporate in coords. Would you be interested in seeing that, once I learn to walk on a prosthetic and stuff?
Hello! This is something I would prefer to respond to privately, but can’t since you’re on anon. Sorry about that! Anyhow, I’m so sorry to hear about your complications and losing your leg. When you are feeling well enough, I encourage you to dress however you’d like! Whatever feels best for you is the priority. I hope all goes well with your recovery and learning to walk again, as your health is always more important than anyone else’s opinion about fashion. If you would like to share your coords when you’re ready I think it would be lovely! Not just for this blog, but as a source of empowerment/inspiration for other lolitas who may be going through what you are or something similar. Don’t sweat it, though!
