I saw Garrett for the 5th time tonight and my heart is so full of smiles!!! I can't believe I've seen him in a tiny crowd and now I've seen him in a crowd of thousands. It was so amazing to hear the whole venue sing his songs back to him and see him smile because of it. I love him so much, this show was so special.

I’m fascinated by the yin and yang of everything. I like the androgyny of how you present yourself. That’s why I have two girls and two guys in my band. Ultimately music has no gender. I like playing with gender roles. Once I started regularly being mistaken as a woman, I was like “Wow, it’s long now.” One of the most frequent locations of being gender confused is being out to dinner. They’re always like, “Hi, ladies, what can I get you?” I think about cutting it sometimes, [but] I like having long hair. There’s something kind of Zen about it.
