If you skipped over all of the text posts I made earlier, I have to say you’re really missing out. It isn’t your typical “the band would like to thank…” liner notes. It’s Adam looking back on getting signed, recording August and Everything After, their first tours, how bad things really got and how close we came to losing Counting Crows. It is completely honest and open, and it makes me appreciate and respect them as a band that much more. "I find myself walking circles in a hotel room at 5 a.m., shaking and sweating and muttering to myself, and holding conversations with the voices in the walls. So I call the airline, call my manager, and then I get on a plane and go home. Because the walls, in the end, aren’t saying anything I want to hear.”

Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, & Part 7 If you get all the way through that you will see that it ends with Adam talking about this sort of life changing show that they played in Paris, 1994. It truly is amazing, I had a bootleg of the show well before it was ever released as the bonus disc for the August and Everything After deluxe edition. Now that it is out there officially I cant in good conscience upload it to share, but I can put up one song and suggest you go out and buy it yourself because even if you already have August and Everything After, the deluxe edition is really worth having. (For the record, the 10 mb limit prevents me from putting up any of the tracks I really want to share, but Omaha is always a good choice.)

I have been a huge fan since that day I saw the cover of August in a CD store and KNEW it was going to be different and beautiful. Your blog/collection here is AMAZINGly well-done! I am looking for Adam's entire August-reissue liner notes and saw excerpts on here - do you have the entire thing as one file, possibly?

Thank you! I've had some computer trouble that's kept me away lately but I'm working through it. I don't have the August-reissue liner notes as one file but I did transcribe it all. Check the liner notes tag for all 7 parts.
