Slo-mo video of Joanna Oberg’s team leaving the halfway point of the 2018 Gunflint Mail Run Sled Dog Race at Trail Center, Minnesota. They went on the win the 8-dog, 70-mile division of the race!

I love the dog on the right that had such long strides they could just start at a trot while everyone else is scrambling to RUN
Just wanted to share this lovely post I found on Facebook. Think people. Think of who you’re really hurting.
I saw this a lot working in retail and it makes me so angry. What kind of person does that?
Also, a reminder that therapy dogs and ESAs are NOT covered by the ADA. I’ve been a therapy dog handler and have my own ESAs. Both provide important emotional services but aren’t trained to do a specific job or task related to their handler’s disability.

Today I started teaching Fawkes how to free stack. He’s not very good at it yet because he’s literally only had 2 5 minute training sessions so far but he’s eager to learn and so am I! Many thanks to Katie (Sega’s owner) for showing me the ropes and handling Fawkes so I could attempt to take photos. :D
My first attempt at double (triple?) exposure!
An Australian Blue Heeler goes to sleep on top of the flock it has herded
THIS IS IT
THIS IS THE POST THAT KILLED ME
BECAUSE AFTER A LONG DAY OF HERDING SHEEP, THIS PUPPY HERE HERDED WITH ALL ITS MIGHT AND THEN SAID YOU KNOW WHAT I NEED A NAP-NAP
AND A NAP-NAP IT HAD
UPON THOSE SHEEP IT HERDED
It must have been counting the sheep as it herded them
Oh, man, I can’t help but try my hand at this: My naym is dog I wurk the farm I see the flocke Comes tu no harme And wen I’m dun With ayl the sheep I jumpe on top I go tu sleepe
Forgot to show off Sadies new head halti! I love this one so much more and so does Sadie the other wasn’t working for her, but she loves this one with no fuss. I prefer the color myself, it’s not too tight or too loose; I think what i prefer is the side bracketing on the halti prevents it from slipping around her nose at all.
dogs are so amazing, we aren’t worthy of them
Gansevoort, Border Collie (4 y/o), Madison Square Park, New York, NY • “He does frisbee for an hour or two twice a day. It truly gives him life. He loves this shit.”
These Borzoi were giving children rides to an accordian playing Santa surrounded by Scotties at the dog show and that pretty much redeemed 2016 for me.
Oh my god
