Eurovision 1961 - France: Printemps, avril carillonne - Jean Paul Mauric

As stated before, the Swedish entry this year was one of the two Eurovision songs about the month of April. As April comes to an end, here is the other one - the French entry of the same year.

Eurovision 1961 - Sweden: April, April - Lill-Babs

There have been two songs at Eurovision about the month of April, both of them were from the 1961 edition. One of them is the Swedish entry. Originally Siw Malmkvist (Sweden 1960, Germany 1969) had won Melodifestivalen with the song, but she was replaced for Eurovision. It may have had to do with the fact that she forgot some of the lyrics and laughed instead during the winner’s reprise.

All songs have been chosen and submitted to the European Broadcasting Union (making them officially the 37 entries of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest).

Russia and Austria have most likely done so too, but have yet to publicly announce their song. Thus, this won't be the final update.
