Jim Carrey in How The Grinch Stole Christmas is freaking incredible, honestly. Like, acting through all that makeup – especially when you take into account that it was uncomfortable enough that he had to get SEAL instruction on dealing with torture – and he makes the performance all his own what with his voice and his body and every little movement and facial expression - seriously, hats off to him.
